Beyond the night

Eloísa, a young guerrilla fighter of the FARC, injures one of her legs during an ambush of the National Army. The girl is sent back to her hometown to join the underground intelligentsia cell. Back home, Eloísa deals with the demons of her past and meets Alejandro, a soldier with charming manners and a beautiful smile. Eloísa fights against her feelings, but ends up falling in love with her enemy.

The film is based on the work of renowned Colombian journalist Germán Castro Caycedo, who published “Más allá de la noche” after 36 interviews to the protagonists.
