'Tijereto' will screen at the Egyptian in LA as part of the 15th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival on the 18th. Check out the program at http://latinofilm.org/.

We are shooting again! Silvana is casting her new short,"El Batuteador", to be shot in Lima at the beginning of August. It'll be the first Cut the Papaya production in Peru!

'Tijereto' (Flycatcher) was selected as part of the International Short Film Festival in São Paulo, which will take place at the end of August. We'll be there!

'Tijereto' will screen at the 15th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival in July, as part of the Official Competition Program.

"Last Resort", the short film co-written by Silvana with co-writer and director Barney Elliott, will screen at the Huesca Short Film Festival in June.

'Crossing' screens at the New York Int.l Children's Film Festival, on the 5th and 26th of March.

'Waves' will screen at the Creatrivas film festival in Madrid, Spain in April .

'Flycatcher' is finally picture locked. We are currently working on sound and colour and plan to screen for cast and crew in Bogotá next month!

'Alijuna' screened at Aguilar del Campo Short Film Festival in Spain this month.

News November 2010

'Alijuna' will screen in the official competition of the 25th Mar del Plata International Film Festival (Argentina) and at the 31st Huelva Latinoamerican Film Festival (Spain).

'Alijuna' was selected for the Pantalla Latina film festival in Zurich. The festival will take place between the 18th and the 22nd of this month.

The postproduction of 'Flycatcher' continues. We plan to have the film ready by mid December.

'Alijuna' won the Best Short Film award at the 14th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival. Thanks to all those who supported the project!

‎'Crossing' won two awards at the 3rd edition of The Short Films Night in Lima: The Special Jury Prize and Best Sound. Congratulations to Silvana, Christopher Wilson and the whole team!

'Alijuna' was selected for the 16th Drama International Film Festival, which will take place between the 20th and the 25th of September.

'Alijuna' was selected for the 14th Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival and the 2010 Women Make Waves Film Festival (Taiwan).

'Alijuna' was one of the 5 nominees for the Cinema Without Borders Best International Short Film Award at the 2010 Palm Springs ShortFest.

We are pleased to announce that Elypse Films is now in charge of the international distribution of 'Alijuna'.

The editing of 'Flycatcher' continues steadily. An extract of the short will soon be available on our website.

News June 2010

'Alijuna' screens at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23rd as part of the 'Crossing the Line' program at the Palm Springs International ShortFest.

'Alijuna' screened in competition at the 38th Huesca International Film Festival on June the 8th. The festival ends on the 12th of this month.

'Flycatcher' is finally in the editing room! The short will be released at the end of August.

'Crossing' won both the ARTE prize and the Audience award at the 22nd Dresden International Film Festival.

'Alijuna' was selected for the official competition at the 38th Huesca International Film Festival and at the Palm Springs International ShortFest. Both festivals will take place in June.

'Waves' screened at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC this past April as part of the program 'Latin American Films For Children'.

'Alijuna' won the Best Ibero-American Short Film Award at the 25th Guadalajara International Film Festival!

'Waves' will screen at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC on April 17th, 2010 at 12.30 p.m. as part of the program 'Latin American Films For Children'.

'Alijuna' recently screened in competition at In Vitro Visual, in Bogotá.

'Crossing' will screen on Sunday the 11th at the 3rd Annual Charleston International Film Festival, and between the 9th/18th of April at Mecal in Barcelona.

Camila and Cristina are shooting the second project for the "I (Heart) New York" campaign.

'Alijuna' will screen in competition at the 25th Guadalajara International Film Festival on the 14th, 15th, 16th and 18th of March.

'Crossing' has been selected for the 3rd Annual Charleston International Film Festival, which will take place between the 8th and 11st of April.

Camila and Cristina are producing two commercials for the "I (Heart) New York" campaign. The short films aim to promote tourism in the state of New York.

'Alijuna' was selected in competition for the 25th Guadalajara International Film Festival. The festival will take place between the 10th and the 19th of March 2010.

'Alijuna' will screen at the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI 50) at the end of the month.

Silvana is at the Berlin Film Festival to promote her feature project "Cycle".

'Alijuna' was selected for the Latin American competition at the 50th Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI 50). The film will screen during the last week of February.

'Crossing' was selected for the 12th Mecal International Short Film Festival, which will take place from the 9th to the 18th of April 2010 in Barcelona.

Camila has completed a first assembly of 'Flycatcher'. A trailer of the film will soon be available online.

'Crossing' won a Special Mention at the Alcine Film Festival (Spain).

'Alijuna' was screeened in Bogotá for cast, crew, sponsors and friends and will now start its festival tour. Thanks to everyone who helped us with the post-production, particularly Chris Wilson (sound) and Ben Richardson (colour).

'Crossing' was selected for the Discovering Latin America Festival (UK), the Leuven Film Festival (Belgium) and Britspotting (Germany).

Camila will start editing 'Flycatcher' at the end of the month.

'Alijuna' will be screened for cast, crew and sponsors on November 25th, in Bogotá.

Silvana has finished editing the teaser for her Pakistani feature 'Cycle'.

'Crossing' will be screened at the 39th Alcine Film Festival and at the 25th Interfilm International Short Film Festival in Berlin this month.

'Waves' was screened at the Shoot-me Film Festival in the Hague, Holland.

It is now possible to watch the full version of 'At three in the afternoon' and 'Waves' on Cut the Papaya's website.

Silvana is in Pakistan shooting the trailer of her Pakistani feature project.

'Waves' was selected for the 7th International Istanbul Children Film Festival.

'Crossing' was selected for the 39th Alcine Film Festival, and for the 25th Interfilm International Short Film Festival in Berlin.

'Alijuna' is now entering the last phase of post-production and will be screened in Bogotá at the end of November.

'Crossing' premiered at the Latinamerican Film Festival in Lima winning both best direction and audience award.

Cristina has started working on the sound mix and the colour correction of 'Alijuna'.

'Waves' and 'At three in the afternoon' have been selected for the XXVI Bogotá Film Festival. 'Waves' will also be screened at FESAALP in La Plata.

Silvana will travel to Pakistan next month to shoot a trailer for her Pakistani feature project.

'Tijereto', Camila's new short film, was shot last week in the Rosario Islands in Colombia. Nicolás Cancino, Jimena Durán and Nelson Camayo star in the film.

Silvana is in Poland on a development workshop for her Pakistani feature film project.

'At three in the afternoon' and 'Waves' will be screened in competition at the Salento Finibus Terrae Film Festival in Italy.

Cristina has just finished a first cut of her new short film "Alijuna".

Silvana is in the Amazonic forest doing field research for her first feature film.

Camila has started working on "Tijereto", her new short film.

'Alijuna', Cristina's new short film, was shot last week in the Guajira desert in Colombia with a minimal crew and under extreme weather conditions. Nelson Camayo and Florina Lemaitre star in the film.

After finishing her latest short film, 'Crossing', Silvana is in Peru doing research for her feature project.

'At three in the afternoon' has been selected for the 37th Huesca Int'l Film Festival in Spain.

'Waves' has been selected for the 25th Hamburg International Short Film Festival.
