Liz, a talented scientist, has to travel unexpectedly to Minorca to take care of her dying father.
In the Spanish island, far from her fiancé, and with her dad drifting away, Liz starts to experiment a sense of calm and fulfillment she never felt before.
Liz meets Aina, a local lively girl who lives as if there was no tomorrow. As their initial friendship develops into a love affair, Liz will fight to reconcilate the new world she is discovering with the life she’s been trying to make sense of back in London.
